SAFLA is built on a grassroots, regionally engaged model. Our governance structure includes Regional Executive Committees across five regions:

• Gauteng
• KwaZulu-Natal
• Western Cape
• Eastern Cape
• Border Region

Each Regional ExCo is made up of experienced professionals drawn directly from the SAFLA member base — people who bring real operational knowledge and urgency to every decision. Regional committees focus on genuine sector issues: addressing operational challenges, engaging stakeholders directly, and driving solutions that matter on the ground.

This structure ensures that no single province or metro dominates, and that members in every corridor have a meaningful voice in the association.
